Well, it is a "game" after all...
I understand that some people want ultra-rare stuff that nobody else has...
But try to understand some of us don't care about how leet an item is, and just like something for the looks. And I don't think that's "wrong".

if you dont care how leet an item is, then you dont care if you dont have it or not? an item like this will never be cheap, so dont expect it to go below 100k anytime before GW2 launch

In Guild Wars, the term "broken" is also often used to describe something that is too good at doing what it is supposed to do, or in the case of Paragons, too good at doing what multiple professions are intended to do.

You think I care how leet an item is? you'd be wrong
Everything I use is pretty common. I like common skins. Wooden bucklers/Longswords/Accursed staffs etc
I'd only buy the Eternal to resell. Such things as this are left to those who want to look l33t. L33t3st thing I own (to use) is my fissure armor, and that is pretty common these days too.
You have to understand these items are good for the game. The UW has prob seen more groups willing to clear these last few days then in the last year, same goes for FoW.
By introducing the chests (and the monuments) Anet revived 2 dying areas.

yarly....I doubt anyone even had any incentive to actually clear fow/uw before. The only rewards being XP and the chance for ecto/shards and such.
its too bad theres 3 places to get to FoW/UW and you cant just simply group up in one single place.

I've never actually cleared the UW, never felt the need. Cleared FoW a few times. Mainly just down to boredom, and easy XP/skill points

LOL at the people saying this is the rarest item in Guild Wars....
Its inscribable. Enough said.
I am sure due to mass whining the drop rate will change to say something along the lines of Runic Blades, Colossal Scimitars etc.
It was a nice incentive to clear UW.
When it is a common drop there will be less incentive.
Maybe it will be made a normal UW drop....

Wrong... rarity is not number in the game, but chance of getting one.

Man, you guys are reading way to much into this "team build" Me and my guild just ran Ursan way, we figured if we can all get legendary Vanq with it, any HM mission with it, any HM dungeon with it, and constant DoA quad runs with it...then why not The UW clean out, we run them almost daily now since we found the Eternal Blade, hoping for another one. The run took us less than 2 hours, and no consumables were used, 6 bears 2 LoD infuse, GG. GL to you all, hope that we can get some more out there on the market, so far mine was the only one.
P.S. Me and a reaslly great guildie have made a build that is ran with 2 Ursan and 6 Heros, yes that is right you and a frend can now clean out all of UW in less that 3 hours. I am going to see if I can get the builds all together and round up, then I will post them.
and to Herb, your my hero, only sold it since it was inscribible, hope that they make it a uber rare reg drop, want a q8 15^50 inherent!!!!

Being inscription bascily means if people farm it enough it will become cheap as anything. The exeption are the ones that drop only from duncan and HOH. Which are only 3 weapons i can think of. Clearing UW isnt as hard as duncan so this will drop to about post nerf runic price imo.

Ok...I really think this topic has runs its full course now.
Just reading the last few pages, you wouldn't even know this is about the Eternal Blade.
Its been confirmed. Everyone got to rant about various off-topic things for 10 pages. We're done.
